A mind game played by Einstein in his Special Theory of Relativity. All objects in Inertial Frames of Reference move only under their own inertia. There are no outside forces (e.g. gravity) acting upon the objects. There can be only one “At Rest Inertial Frame of Reference”. All “Moving Inertial Frames of Reference” are moving relative to the one At Rest Inertial Frame of Reference.
Lecture 2 – The Principle of Relativity has been added to the Home Page. This lecture discusses the historical views of the nature of the universe, the development of the Principle of Relativity, and early views of light including the Doppler Effect and redshift. This lecture provides background which helps to explain the assumptions Einstein used in his Theory of Relativity. Length: 55:59
Lecture 1 – The Romeo Effect has been added to the Home Page. This lecture discusses the Romeo Effect and identifies the issues that exist with the assumptions Einstein made in his Theory of Relativity. This lecture introduces new assumptions used in The Theory of Time. Length: 53:31
Speed of Light The second assumption made by Albert Einstein in his Special Theory of Relativity was the Principle of Invariant Light Speed. This principle…
Principle of Relativity The first assumption made by Albert Einstein was the Principle of Relativity. This principle states the laws of physics are the same…
